Research
Projects
There are several ongoing projects in the lab. Our research uses in-person and online psychophysics, eye tracking and pupillometry, fMRI (coming soon), computational modeling and philosophical reflection to understand visual perception, imagination, consciousness, metacognition and how all blends together.
More details coming soon!
An Adversarial Collaboration about the Neural Basis of Perception and Mental Imagery
This is an international, multi-site collaboration to empirically test different higher-order theories of consciousness using neuroimaging, psychophysics and computational modeling. In particular, we’re looking for the neural codes of conscious perception and imagination and what distinguishes them.
We’re recruiting a postdoc for this project!
